By doing this, we make sure to continue complying with the RGPD, the new EU data protection legislation that will be applied on May 25, 2018.

The ABS Privacy Policy outlines your data privacy rights on the www.aspirebarcelona.eu platform and details our approach to managing your data. ABS captures various elements of information as you register and browse the site, this information may include:

Personal information for registration: If you register to become a member of ABS you will provide information that we will help keep unique and private – this may include name, email address, phone number, age and country. You may also provide additional information about your learning stage and interests. This information is used to send your new information about us and our programs and activities.

Details of your visits to ABS´s website: We will also capture information about your visit from your browser. This may include IP address and device type. This information is used to present you with a more relevant experience based on your location and for diagnostic purposes. Information is also passed on to Google Analytics for our reporting purposes. All information passed to Google Analytics is on an anonymous basis and is non-identifiable. This is statistical data about your use of our Service and does not identify you or any individual.

Cookies: Our Service uses cookies to store information about your visit. These cookies are stored by us to support the core operation of the Service. In addition, our third-party partners may also store cookies on your browser for one or more of the following reasons: to measure site performance, to gather non-identifiable user statistics and analytics, to provide targeted advertising.

HOW WE USE THE DATA COLLECTED

Providing the ABS service

Details provided when you register with us, you allow us to use your information to be contacted for our member of the ABS ´s staff or share this information with our agents to keep the follow up in your application process.

When you sign up we also ask you for information about your learning level and subjects / interests. This allows us to make suggestions of learning material that we think may be of interest to you.

We also will track general usage (not identifiable) and performance statistics to allow us to the make improvements and introduce new features to the platform.

Communication

We will use the email address provided to us to communicate a number of product messages regarding the platform in general and more specific notifications regarding areas of interest to you. By signing up to ABS you agree to allow ABS to send emails to the email address that you have provided either on Facebook Ads, Social Media Channels, Direct messages or by applying online direct on ABS ´s website.

If you want to remove yourself from the contact list, you must send an email to info@aspirebarcelona.eu with the word “unsubscribe” and you will no longer receive emails

Advertising

The most important source of our user’s information is received by our advertising in several digital platforms. Information shared on ABSWe may use data we collect through our interactions with you to keep building our data base uniquely to send information about academic programs to the students interested and the respective agents working in each country for the same purpose.

Information based on cookies:

The ads that you see may also be selected based on other information learned about you over time through your cookies. Cookies using demographic data, location data, search queries, interests and favourites, usage data from our products and sites, as well as the sites and apps of our advertisers and partners. These ads are referred to as "interest-based advertising" in this statement. If you opt out of receiving interest-based advertising, data associated with these cookies will not be used.

Data collected by other advertising companies:

ABS use ad companies to deliver advertisements to our website. These third-parties may place cookies on your device and collect data about your online activities across websites or online services. Our site is not intended for use by users aged 15 or under, and no advertising is targeted at this age group. The advertising is required from 18 or above.

Accessing your data processed by ABS You can request a file with all personally identifiable information relating to you that has been processed by ABS To do this, email info@aspirebarcelona.eu requesting your information. You will receive a response from us within 30 days. You will receive an email with all the information that has been collected and processed by us.

Controlling communication preferences

All communication preferences can be controlled by you, so that you only get notified of the elements that are important to you. If you no longer want to receive information about ABS , send an email to info@aspirebarcelona.eu with the word “unsubscribe” and we will remove your information from the data base.

Security of data At ABS we are committed to protecting the security of your personal data. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. User data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access, with access limited to only those employees who require that access to fulfil their function.

Retention

If a member requests account cancellation, then data will be cancelled on confirmation of the request. There are some cases that ABS can held information about student applications in case there is a pending procedure like payments or refunds.

Children

Our services and products are not targeted at children under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not advertise our products to people under 15, but we can hold information with previous authorization of the legal tutor of the same.
